Ghostrunner Confirms Its New Date On Nintendo Switch: November 10

Ghostrunner, the colorful first-person action game with cyberpunk aesthetics that has just arrived on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, confirms its date on Nintendo Switch after a last-minute delay.

Last week Ghostrunner was released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A work by One More Level, 3D Realms, and Slipgate Ironworks starring a cyberpunk ninja who runs, jumps, and slices meat with his katana. We recently learned of the existence of the Nintendo Switch version, which despite good intentions, was not in time for the multiplatform launch.

The good news is that the delay has been very slight, and its publisher, 505 Games confirms that Ghostrunner will be released on Nintendo’s hybrid on November 10, Tuesday of next week. It does so with a version that, they say, is perfectly optimized for Switch hardware, and it will be very fluid. As in the other versions, it will only be in digital format.

If we buy it in its first month, until December 10, we can get two exclusive katanas, one of them unique from the Nintendo console. Here you can see a selection of screenshots of the Switch version to see what this version looks like.

Although the graphic change is evident, the most important thing about the conversion is the fluidity, as it is an action and platform game that requires nerves of steel, when it comes to moving at full speed through the stages, running along the walls, getting hooked with a cable, and using the katana precisely.

In our analysis of the version of PS4, Xbox One, and PC, we already told you what we thought about the game, with a very high difficulty but which is very satisfactory. Without a doubt, it will be one of the most technically demanding games on the console. Remember that in 2021 it will also be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S, with graphic improvements, at 4K and 60 fps.
